In order to effectively convey the priorities of NOAA's corporate strategy, PPI has assembled a limited set of documents communicating how NOAA adds value to society as well as the growing demand for NOAA's products and services. The set of documents includes the new NOAA Strategic Plan for FY 2009 - 2014 and the Annual Guidance Memorandum for FY 2011 - 2015.

NOAA's Annual Guidance Memorandum (AGM) for FY 2011 - 2015 identifies a limited number of high-impact, high visibility, NOAA-wide priorities that require significant and sustained financial or managerial resources and effort. These priorities, originally aggregated into seven areas responsive to NOAA's assessment of external trends and drivers, were subsequently consolidated into six topics.
